The child has one intuitive aim: self development
I began my teaching career in 2014 as an English teacher in Colombia, where I discovered my passion for language education. After moving to the United States, I worked as a Spanish teacher at a preschool in Boston, Massachusetts, where I enjoyed introducing young learners to a second language through songs, stories, and play. In September 2022, I joined the Montessori community at CCM, where I continue teaching Spanish at the elementary school level. I appreciate how the Montessori philosophy fosters independence, creativity, and curiosity in students—values that I strive to bring into my classroom each day. What I enjoy most about working in education is building meaningful connections with students and helping them view language as a bridge to understanding new cultures and perspectives.
FUN FACTS: I love exploring new cultures through travel and trying new cuisines. There’s nothing like tasting a dish from another part of the world! In my free time, you’ll often find me capturing moments with my camera or getting lost in a classical novel. I also love cooking up new recipes and going on outdoor adventures, especially hiking with my family.
