CCM Online Library Resources
Schoology is a virtual learning tool for K-12 school and higher education institutions that allows users to create, manage, and share academic content. All CCM classrooms are using Schoology to organize virtual instruction during COVID in the 2020-2021 school year.
Google Drive is a cloud file storage and synching service. Along with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, it allows collaborative access to and editing of documents, spreadsheets, presentations, drawings, forms, and more.
Clever is a database where students can access learning applications.
Frederick County Public Libraries (FCPL) is a partner of the Frederick County Public Schools. Using their Student Success Card, which has been created for each student using their student number, students may check out books, put books on hold and access online resources and ebooks through FCPL for free. To meet the needs of families across the county FCPL has created new programming, resources, and services to help those learning and teaching from home. Gale Pages is an online research service with resources specifically for elementary students as and middle school students.
Britannica Elementary School Edition is an online research resource with an updated encyclopedia including hundreds of thousands of articles, biographies, videos, images and websites.
Britannica Image Quest is an online resource with a collection of about 3 million rights-cleared images and clipart that students have permission to use in their research and projects.
Britannica Middle School Edition is an online research resource with an updated encyclopedia including hundreds of thousands of articles, biographies, videos, images and websites.
Learn 360 is a collection of videos, audio files, and encyclopedia articles on a wide variety of curricular topics for online research.
Capstone Interactive library is a collection of fiction and nonfiction books that can be read on any device or computer that can access the web. The books also include an audio and word by word guide to help readers.
AXIS 360 is an App where students can access digital copies of FCPS ebooks and audiobooks (students must download the App).
Teaching Books contains information on books, author interviews, book trailers and more.
Stanford History Education Group provides educators accessible, high-quality teaching tools.
