Hello to the Carroll Creek Montessori Community! My name is Kathleen Connors-Brady and I am a lower elementary (1st to 3rd grade) teacher here. I absolutely love the 6 to 9 age range. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and earned a degree in education and a degree in early childhood development from Frostburg State University to see that dream into reality. I am currently pursuing my master’s in Montessori education.
To give a little background on myself, I grew up in downtown Frederick, attending FCPS schools and loved every minute of my experience. I feel honored to now be paying forward the amazing educational experience this county provided me.
My husband and I are the proud parents of a beautiful, baby girl named Caroline who was born in December, an American bulldog named Moses, and a cat we call Nemo. We have also been blessed with 11 nieces and nephews that have been our joy for many years now. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an amazing staff and community here at Carroll Creek Montessori Public Charter School.
