Charlotte Rigano

Hello! My name is Charlotte Rigano, and I am an Instructional Assistant at CCM. What I appreciate about Montessori education is the hands-on and individualized learning, which meets each child where he/she is.

I have worked at FCPS since 2022, initially as a substitute teacher, and then as a Special Education Instructional Assistant in Inclusive Pre-K. I have a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami, and my undergraduate degree was in Psychology and English from Wellesley College. Before my master’s degree, I worked as a teaching assistant at two private schools in Washington, DC, and Miami, FL. I worked as a licensed therapist in Florida before starting my family. My two children attend CCM!

My family lives here in Frederick, with our fluffy cat named Oliver.

FUN FACTS: In my limited free time, I like being outside in nature, thrifting/antiquing, and exploring new places. I love coffee and stationery items! My favorite novel is Wuthering Heights.
