For the last seven years, the Montessori approach to education has provided me with profound and enriching experiences. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals in Special Education settings, as classroom Instructional Assistant and Primary Teacher.
Previously, I was employed with Monocacy Valley Montessori Public Charter School for five years. Additionally, I have worked at Mt. Nebo Christian Preschool, as well as with The Light of the Child Montessori School.
I received my Montessori Teaching Diploma in Preschool/Kindergarten Education from North American Montessori Center and continue to explore various coursework pertaining to Autism Spectrum and Montessori Philosophy.
While not at school, I am often found spending time with my four adult children, camping, gardening, baking, riding my bike or working with stained glass and mosaic tile projects.
I feel quite fortunate and look forward to the opportunity to work with the many families of Carroll Creek Montessori as together we pursue creative problem solving, critical thinking strategies and expand our creativity.
