I am excited to be joining Carroll Creek Montessori this school year. I graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2007 with a major in psychology and minors in neuroscience and philosophy. After college I worked for the American Speech Language Hearing Association’s National Center for Evidenced Based Practice. While I love doing research, I realized that my passion is working directly with children. I returned to graduate school to pursue a master’s degree in speech language pathology from University of Virginia. After graduating in 2012, I began my career in the public school systems.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and pets. Our 1 year old son and 4 year old daughter keep my husband and I very busy. We enjoy being outside, doing art projects, and cooking. My kids inspire me to be the best teacher I can be!
