Sara Viveiros

I have always dreamed of becoming a teacher. I knew that working with children was what I was meant to do. Their energy, imagination and eagerness to learn would make the job fulfilling and rewarding. I went to college and became an elementary school teacher. Public education was different than I had imagined. I watched the excitement of learning dim as students made their way through the education system. I was feeling confused. Then I discovered Carrol Creek Montessori! When I walked into the school, I found what I was seeking in my career. I was inspired by everything I saw and knew that I wanted to be involved. I began working on my Montessori credentials over the summer at The Barrie School in Silver Spring MD. I am excited to start my Montessori journey this year at Carroll Creek. I live in West Virginia with my husband and my 3 year old son. We love to be outdoors and to spend time with our extended family!
